Look, the Humpers are Rock'n'Roll. No wait, make that 'The Humpers ARE Rock'N'Roll'.
The band that never succumbed to 'MTV Unplugged', or duets with Bonio from U2, they just kept on kicking out the 'rama-lama-fa-fa-Chuck Berry-meets-Johnny-Thunders' Jams until their sad demise......... although reports coming from the States that they're gigging again has had us checking flight details on Virgin Atlantic......
Anyhoo, we all loved/love 'Positively Sick' and 'Journey To The Center Of', right? Two killer albums, for sure. Well, we here at Devils Towers finally managed to prise the DATS from Scott Drake's clammy paws for the album that SHOULD have been released on a Yugoslavian label, way back just when the Civil War there broke out. 'War Is Hell' contained recordings that pre-date the Sympathy releases, and gawd help me (we are Humpers completists here, we know our stuff!), the versions found on 'War Is Hell' are better! And I don't say that just because we've remastered them!
To bring you 'more bang for yer buck', we also remastered and added the rare-as-hens-teeth 'My Machine' album too!
Better versions of songs you already know. Songs you've never heard before. All from the band that you just GOTTA love if you claim to love Rock'n'Roll. 'War Is Hell/My Machine' CD out NOW
