Surely, no introduction necessary?!

We are proud to have reissued their stellar 1977 Chiswick debut album, not once, but three times!

Way back in 2007 (30th Anniversary), we Direct-Metal-remastered the album on 180g Vinyl, stuck it (with Picture inner sleeve) into a Silver-Foil on black sleeve, in a numbered edition of 666 copies only. The first 100 copies only came with a 'Beyond The Threshold Of Pain' Poster and a bonus 1-sided Grey Vinyl 12" of the 'Beer Drinking City Kids' tracks, too! This edition is now sold out, big time.

Motorfact # 1 - There was no '665' - but two '666' one, '666L' was presented to Lemmy. '666-P' was kept by our MD (And signed by Lemmy).
Motorfact # 2 - The typos on the back  sleeve are deliberate, in keeping with Chiswicks original 1st pressing in '77 - 'VibOrator', 'Keepers On The Road' etc.

In 2009, we also reissued the album twice more.
As these reissues also coincided with a  (umm, less tasty....) reissue by BacktoBlack (nothing to do with us, it's a bit basic) , read on, you might have missed out!

Reissue # 2 was a straight reissue of the album, in a 4-colour-black laminated sleeve (as per Chiswicks second issue in 1977!), on purple vinyl, in a numbered edition of 666 copies, in a gatefold sleeve, and with a bonus 12"  of the 'Beer Drinking City Kids' tracks.... For the first 100 copies, the 12" came on Grey Vinyl...

Reissue # 3 was what became known as the 'CLR-X' version. Yep, on ferrous-free CLR-X-VPL Clear vinyl, housed in a black-on-silver foiled sleeve, a numbered edition of 666 only.

Motorfact # 3: The typos on these pressings are true to Chiswicks second 1977 pressing ' WallACE' etc.

We reckon Motorhead have actually got better with every year and every album. Motorizer, Inferno, Kiss of Death to us, are the best Motorworks ever. Check out our releases to hear where it all started, remastered, like listening to them for the first time ever - properly!
